About this lot
Very nice VW Beetle convertible
Owned by a private collection for more than 20 years.
The car was thoroughly restored.
This both in terms of interior, exterior and engine.
The engine was also equipped with a 2-stage Weber carburettor to be both more economical and more performant.
Also equipped with a completely new Mohair convertible roof.
Always registered as daily use. (no O-number plate)
Almost 1000 km added every year.
So this is a very nice, clean car.
It has not been patched up with a lot of welding or putty, but a pure example that was thoroughly tackled in the past and still shines in its skin with some traces of use.
And as a final trump card, a matching number car.
