>> The Ape is a light and very manoeuvrable three-wheeled commercial vehicle, usually equipped with a two-stroke engine with a mixture ring. It has been manufactured by the Italian Piaggio since 1948, and mainly appears in the one-person version. By the way, 'Ape' is Italian for bee, just as the even more famous Vespa stands for wasp. This retro Ape is an eye-catcher anyway, and can serve in the hospitality industry, at events or as office decoration, for example. Presumably it comes from the 70s, although we can't verify that. According to the current owner, the car can start & drive, but you need a new battery and 'start-pilot' for that (we haven't verified that either). It still bears its original patina, and a new brake pump has already been fitted (which needs some adjustment). Come and inspect this one yourself; during a reserved viewing moment! _ _ _ _ _ So, this lot shows normal signs of use, given its age (or during the viewing 'Viewing day' you can possibly form an important opinion of your own) and comes without documents.
