Simon et Bruno

The French duo Simon and Bruno lead irregular and interesting lives as professional artists. After a period of travelling back and forth with puppets between Paris and Strasbourg, the development of art became their main goal. The starting point is the power of expression. Outside Europe, the United States and Japan, among others, also became active areas. Logos were developed for hotels, as well as sculptures and jewellery for charitable purposes. Unbridled use of colours, images or geometric situations is recorded under their motto "simple but effective". The down-to-earth but emotionally connected duo clearly conveys a message. If the public discovers a synthetic symbolism in their oeuvre, these attributes refer to man, with his sexual drive, his materialistic attitude and all the grotesque relationships in every human existence.
