The assets offered for sale, equipment, machines, parts, all lots etc. have been used in and originate from a renowned penicillin manufacturing facility within the pharmaceutical industry and therefore are considered to be contaminated (potential Amoxicillin, Penicillin allergy risks). The seller acknowledges having done the utmost to follow all procedures related to such contamination, clean the assets as to minimize the so called PEN contamination (also known as Amoxicillin) though does not accept any responsibility nor liability related to it when the assets is sold and handed over. The assets have all been cleaned, dismantled, cleaned again before being lifted out, packed/wrapped into plastic foil and relocated from the PEN contaminated areas to the non-contaminated areas, where the hand-over and delivery of the assets shall take place. Bidders and/or buyers herewith declare to accept the assets being purchased in and with this condition, will take all further necessities to prevent further spread of potential contamination and exempts the seller of any further liabilities and responsibilities that can be related to it. Restricted deliveries: in week 22, 23 and 24 only by appointment, timeslot and per single buyer (purchased lots will be dismantled, cleaned, packed, lifted out from contaminated to non-contaminated zones, cleaned again and loaded onto the transport of the buyer(s) outside the facility by a professional, approved and sole preferred service partner, for which a mandatory cost per lot is displayed within the lot details and is added during bidding automatically). How do I place a bid?

You can easily participate in the auction through the website. Log in as usual and navigate to the lot of your choice. On the right side of the screen, you will find 'Bid' and 'Auto Bid.' Click on 'How does this work' for more information about automatic bidding.

Click on 'Bid' to see the total amount of your bid, including the buyer's premium and VAT. After accepting the general terms and user conditions by checking the box, click 'Confirm' to place the bid.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
