About this lot

The foundation for the Ruska Buggy was laid when photographer Paul Huff discovered a fun car in America called a "buggy". In 1968 he asked the Amsterdam garage owner Arie Ruska Sr. to build such a buggy on a Volkswagen chassis. This model attracted so much attention that Ruska received many orders to build buggies. This has made Ruska the most successful buggy builder in the Netherlands. This buggy comes from a private collection and has not been driven for a long time.
