>> The R129 type of Mercedes' iconic SL arrived in 1989, and successfully brought the exclusive convertible into modern times. It contained many innovations, such as 48-valve V8 engines and was the first Mercedes with a hydraulic roof. The R129 is also the world's first to feature an automatic roll-bar, adding to its minimalist lines. Our handsomely colored 24-valve has the fine 2+2 seat option, comes with special Duchâtelet rims and was put away 'in driving condition' a while ago. If you connect it to the booster, you can see that the electronics are working, but its Belgian registration is currently lost (so the owner offers a compensatory PV 'Proof of Loss' when awarding the contract). You can admire and inspect this tasteful convertible cruiser yourself; but only during a specific reserved viewing moment (which takes place in the Noorderkempen of Belgium). _____So; this lot shows moderate signs of use (or possibly form your own opinion during a 'Viewing Day').
