About this lot
The end of production in 2015 brought about a major change for this nowadays much sought-after model from Landrover.
Originally from the French government, this 1st owner was an ideal basis for restoration given the low mileage.
A thorough "body off rebuild" with an eye for detail and where no expense or effort was spared to achieve this result.
This 6-speed TD4 is known for being the most comfortable of its kind.
The images speak for themselves and show that there is nothing to hide at the bottom either, unlike many defenders offered today.
- Remarks:
- The exterior It's surprising how much difference the series of doors make to a late Defender. Together with the contrasting exterior paint beluga black and beige roof, add to this the stripings, Then we really turn back the clock. This certainly doesn't look like a modern Land Rover, and we'd say it's only gotten better. The 'Heritage' homage continues with the classic-era emblem-studded grille. The classic look by analogy with its predecessor, the Land Rover series. The Interior The interior has a top finish in nappa leather and soundproofing under the carpets reminiscent of the Range Rover Classic. At the bottom The chassis was sandblasted, metallised, repainted and has undergone an internal anti-rust treatment. We would dare say much better than new. Technical Complete overhaul in terms of brakes, fluids, seals, filters, the clutch was also replaced preventively.
