Ducati Paso

>> Is being auctioned due to the thinning of a personal collection, and has been in the possession of the current owner since 2018. The Ducati Paso was introduced in 1986 with the slogan "Il nostro passato ha un grande futuro" (Our past has a great future). The name was in honor of racer Renzo Pasolini, nicknamed "Paso", who died in an accident at the Monza circuit during the Italian Grand Prix on May 20, 1973. The Paso was designed by Massimo Tamburini, who decided to streamline the frame and 750cc engine into a tight-fitting integral fairing in which all mechanical parts were hidden; One of the first production motorcycles with this kind of design. With less than 5000 units produced worldwide, the 750 Paso is a rare sight. _ _ _ Works carried out: - Rims spun, straightened and powder coated (2019) - Tire replacement (2019) - New front and rear wheel bearings - Timing belts replaced - 650 km driven since then - Original Weber carburettor, overhauled and adjusted by a specialist. (see photo) - K&N intake - Overhauled rear spring - Starter overhauled - Fuel pump replacement - Steel braided front brake lines - New brake pads - 2 sets of keys The bike comes with 2 saddles, 1 black saddle and 1 red saddle. Both saddles have been reupholstered and are in beautiful condition. The original air filter housing is present together with a new K&N inlay filter. The original license plate holder is also present. Everything is clearly kept in a folder which of course comes with the motorcycle. The bodywork has signs of wear here and there but is generally in good condition. Belgian registration certificate (part 1&2) + certificate of conformity.
