This Buick Series 40 Special hardtop Coupé saw the first light of day in 1956. Buick is one of the GM brands that was just below the Cadillac in terms of appearance. Recognizable by the Ventiports in the front wings, which have been characteristic of Buick since 1949. Three for the baseline and four for the top model such as the Roadmaster. This is a body-off example restored in 1991 in excellent condition. The full photo report is available. The bodywork is very nicely painted in the original colours and has correct alignment. The twotone paint is in very good condition with only some minor signs of use. The underside of this Buick is painted in high-gloss black, is rock hard and has never been welded. The car is still a sight to behold. The chrome is beautiful with only a few minor blemishes. The front bumper and grill have been re-chromed in a high quality. The interior was once reupholstered and therefore in beautiful condition. In the dashboard you will find the typical 50s style. See also the special effect of a fully open side when the windows are down. In addition to the beautiful appearance, everything works optimally. The engine compartment is not inferior and is also very neatly cared for. After the Dutch overhaul of the Nailhead 322CU V8, the car has made few kilometers. The car has been in the Netherlands for a long time and was restored to the last detail twenty-five years ago. It has been in storage for more than twenty years. We have also thoroughly tackled the Buick again and secured it for a long future. We installed many new parts, such as: new tires, power brakes, power steering, stainless steel dampers, electronic ignition and spark plug cables, cylinders and brake hoses. The new Edelbrock carburetor was tuned to a power bench. We have completely overhauled the original starter motor. We also tackled the Dynaflow and it has been fitted with new gaskets and seals and we overhauled the converter. As you are used to from us, the car has been fitted with fresh oils and the brakes have been fully checked. The engine coupled to an automatic Dynaflow transmission has two gears. The engine runs extremely smoothly and always has enough power available. The transmission is easy to operate, shifts smoothly and is free of play.

Delivery of the won car is also possible. Within the Netherlands (with the exception of the Wadden Islands) this costs €165 excl. VAT. After you have paid for the car, the transport will be scheduled and the car will be delivered to you on average after 5 working days from the collection day.
