1970 Volkswagen convertible

This beautiful VW Beetle convertible was restored to perfection a few years ago. The car has been completely disassembled, of course the body was separated from the base plate. Everything was dismantled from both chassis and bodywork in such a way that the car was accurately painted after the necessary repair work and received a special zinc anti-corrosion treatment. This car is not provided with a camouflaging coating layer like many others, but is painted all around where you can clearly see the tightness of the inner panels. Today, the car is still very neat and ready for use. Technical: When the body and underbody were separated, the car was completely renewed in terms of brakes, steering and suspension. It is of course an original convertible with 15 as the starting figures of the chassis. The original 1200cc engine was also overhauled and upgraded to a 1600cc double port with new bearings, cylinders and seals. With its 50 hp, it is still smooth and fun to drive on small roads and beautiful country roads. The engine is still bone dry to this day. The clutch and gearbox were also checked, renewed where necessary (clutch) and polished. Everything works in terms of lighting and safety. Interior: The interior and the convertible top have been outsourced to a specialized company and were thoroughly addressed. The convertible top has been fully equipped with new components: frame, headliner, insulation fabric and outer canvas. The car was then used for several years as a sunny Sunday driver and was always well maintained. There are slight signs of wear noticeable but certainly no damage. The ideal Beetle convertible for the purist who is looking for a car that is as good as new.
