Sven Nys ended his active career in 2016 and has since been focused on his new professional challenges as team manager of Telenet Fidea Lions and as ambassador of the 'Sven Nys Cycling Center'. In this new chapter in his life, Sven uses his long experience as a top athlete to coach and guide young athletes to help them make even more progress. The prestigious brand DC Athletics called on Sven Nys' experience to develop a new spinning bike suitable for intensive training. After thorough consultation and many adjustments, the Cannibal 1 spinning bike saw the light of day! The Sven Nys Cannibal 1 from DC Athletics is designed in such a way that every user can find a good sitting position on it. This is partly due to the adjustable handlebars and saddle, which can be adjusted in height as well as horizontally. In addition, the Cannibal 1 uses double pedals, by which we mean that the pedals are standard on one side so that they can be accessed with normal shoes and on the other side they use SPD clipless pedals, so that you can ride them with clipless shoes. The comfort on the Sven Nys Cannibal 1 is increased by the pro gel saddle and the extremely quiet drive belt. DC Athletics has chosen to use only the best materials in order to create a sturdy frame consisting of high-quality components. Another thing that is special about this bike is the fact that the spin bike uses a triathlon handlebar. This allows you to adopt a comfortable lying position on the spin bike.
