This deposit is calculated on the basis of the VAT rate applicable in the Federal Republic of Germany. After confirmation that the purchased item has left the EU, the deposit will be refunded to the buyer:
- EU buyers must complete and return to Troostwijk Germany a so-called Gelangsbestätigung [download the template “Template_Intra-Community Supply (DE-EN)” attached here] to export.de@troostwijkauctions.com in order to have the deposit refunded.
- Non-EU buyers must return a copy of the electronic export declaration (EX-A with MRN - for verification purposes only) or, in the case of lower value goods, a completed export declaration with a stamp from the EU border customs office to export.de@troostwijkauctions.com in order to have the deposit refunded.
